If you’re dealing with high-density heat, you know the struggle. Most lamps just can’t keep up, or they burn out the second things get intense. We built these 14mm x 690mm lamps to actually handle the pressure. At 1000W, the heat spreads evenly across that 690mm stretch. No weird cold spots. Just consistent, reliable warmth. Depending on how fast you need to hit your target temperature, you can go with halogen quartz or carbon fiber. The nitty-gritty on the build We went with a 14mm tube because it fits right into most industrial oven racks without a fight. The high-purity quartz glass does two things: it keeps the heat where it belongs and stops the internal filament from oxidizing. Here’s the thing about cheap lamps: they usually fry right in the center. By balancing 1000W over this specific length, we stop that overheating from happening. If you choose carbon fiber, you’re getting a different kind of heat. It hits the target way faster. Just a heads-up, though—you’ll need the right voltage controllers. If you shock the filament during startup, you’re going to have a bad time. Making them last Nobody wants to be replacing elements every few weeks. To stop the tungsten or carbon from evaporating too fast, we optimized the gas fill inside the quartz. It’s a small detail, but it’s why these last so much longer. Plus, they’re designed as drop-in replacements, so you can just wire them into your existing setup and get back to work. But be careful. Quartz is tough, but it’s brittle. If your mounting clips are squeezing the glass too hard, the tube will crack as it expands from the heat. Give it some breathing room. Where these actually shine These are perfect for PET blowing, plastic welding, or drying tunnels. Because they’re 690mm long, you can cover a lot of ground. One last tip: these put out intense short-wave infrared, so your reflectors have to be on point. If your reflectors are dirty or pitted, you’re basically throwing away 30% of your heat. And for the love of everything, keep the glass clean. Even a few fingerprints leave oils behind. Those oils create hot spots, and that’s exactly how you snap a quartz tube.
