Just remember, your control gear needs to be rated for that high-voltage load, too.
What It’s Made Of
We use a quartz tube because it can handle the extreme heat and doesn’t flinch when you cycle the power on and off. It’s tough, and that’s what you need. Inside, the halogen gas does a neat trick. It stops the tungsten from building up on the wall, which keeps the light and heat output steady over time. The lamp stays consistent, job after job.
