Power, voltage, and size—made practical

This is a high-density heater, and it’s spec’d that way for a reason. It runs at 2500W and 400V, and heats a 300mm active length fast. That power-to-length ratio is exactly what you need to soften PET preforms quickly, without stretching the heating zone out too far. And the 10mm tube diameter? It keeps the footprint small, so it slips into tight reflector setups and crowded machine frames without fighting for space.

What’s inside—and why it matters

The core is a quartz envelope filled with halogen gas. That combo helps keep the filament stable when things get seriously hot, and it fights the blackening that can rob output over time. So the heat stays consistent, cycle after cycle. The short-wave infrared output is aimed right at the wavelengths PET absorbs best. That means you’re heating the material itself—not wasting energy warming the air around it. We also added a reflective coating to push more radiant energy forward, so more of it actually reaches the preform surface. And for the connections, we use R7s and SK15 connectors because they hold solid, handle the current, and make the tube a straightforward, drop-in replacement on standard fixtures.

In PET blowing, your heater has to respond immediately and deliver repeatable heat. This tube does exactly that. Running 2500W across a 300mm tube creates serious heat density. That’s powerful—but it also means your machine’s cooling and ventilation need to be properly set up.
